Former Local Leader and Officials Face Investigation in Marrakech

On Monday, July 27, a former leader of the Ourika region, along with four local officials, including two chiefs and two assistants, appeared before the investigating judge at the Marrakech Court of First Instance. This court appearance is part of an ongoing investigation into allegations of illegal construction in the area. The judicial action taken is part of a broader inquiry overseen by the relevant public prosecutor's office, which aims to determine accountability related to suspected negligence in urban planning violations or the granting of unauthorized permits.
