To strengthen its IT infrastructure, CATHEDIS is looking for two Junior System Administrators to support the operation, maintenance, and evolution of its technical environment. The selected candidates will be responsible for managing and improving the daily operations of the infrastructure while ensuring the availability, security, and performance of the systems.
Role and Responsibilities of Junior System Administrators
The Junior System Administrators will be pivotal in maintaining both Linux and Windows Server systems. They will manage cloud environments, particularly Azure, and handle SaaS architectures. Additionally, they will implement and maintain containerization solutions using Docker, manage configuration and versioning through Git and GitLab, and administer both MySQL and PostgreSQL databases. The role also includes overseeing video surveillance systems, securing networks, diagnosing and troubleshooting technical incidents, and proposing continuous improvements for the IT infrastructure.
Ideal candidates for this position will possess a Bac+5 in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification, along with a minimum of one year of similar experience. They should demonstrate a strong command of cloud environments and systems, the ability to work independently, rigorous attention to detail, analytical skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team.
