Currently, Safran Electronics & Defense Morocco is seeking industrial transfer team leaders as part of the Sherman activity transfer project. The selected candidates will oversee the entire transfer cycle, which includes preparation, stabilization of transferred activities, team building, knowledge transfer, industrialization, and ramp-up to achieve target performance metrics. This position entails close interaction with both the transferring and receiving site teams and may require international travel to ensure effective knowledge and expertise transfer.
Key Responsibilities:
- People Management: Identify resource and skill requirements based on the transfer schedule, define sought profiles, and assist in the recruitment process alongside HR. Facilitate team organization and responsibilities while promoting the development of team members in line with the company’s values.
- Transfer Oversight: Manage transfer activities, ensuring project objectives are met on-site. Coordinate all phases of the transfer process, including preparation, industrialization, ramp-up, and series delivery while prioritizing actions and mobilizing necessary resources.
- Knowledge Transfer: Identify critical skills and knowledge for transfer, prepare and coordinate the sharing of expertise related to assembly, testing, and equipment control, and ensure that team members receive the required training.
- Performance Monitoring: Participate in project reviews, track KPIs, monitor deviations from action plans, and contribute to resource and budget management.
- Ramp-Up Management: Ensure timely commencement of transferred activities, coordinate industrial validation of equipment, and manage the ramp-up phase to meet performance targets while documenting lessons learned from the transfer.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with various project functions including Industrialization, Supply Chain, Quality, and Maintenance, as well as teams from transferring sites.
