KACM Welcomes Back Reda Hakam as New Head Coach
The Kawkab Athletic Club of Marrakech (KACM) has officially appointed Reda Hakam as the new head coach of the first team, succeeding Hicham Dmii. This strategic decision comes as the club aims to revitalize its performance and meet the high expectations of its passionate supporters.
In a statement to the MAP, the club's official spokesperson, Youssef Dahir, emphasized that Hakam has wasted no time in starting his role, immediately engaging with the team to assess the current roster. He is particularly focused on evaluating the available players and scouting for new talents that could enhance the team's technical capabilities.
Hakam will also collaborate closely with the club's management to navigate the upcoming transfer period. The goal is to strengthen the squad further and create a competitive team that aligns with the ambitions of Kawkab de Marrakech, ensuring they can compete effectively in upcoming matches.
This marks Reda Hakam's return to the helm of Kawkab de Marrakech for a second stint, having previously managed the team during the 2024-2025 season. Last season, KACM finished in ninth place in the Botola Pro Inwi (the top division), accumulating 36 points over 30 matches, with a record of 8 wins, 12 draws, and 10 losses. As the club embarks on this new chapter under Hakam's leadership, hopes are high for a significant turnaround in fortunes.
