Celebrating Equestrian Excellence in Morocco
The 41st edition of the Horse Week, featuring the Moroccan Championships in show jumping and dressage, commenced on Sunday at the Royal Equestrian Sports Complex and Tbourida in Dar Es Salam, Rabat. Organized by the Royal Moroccan Federation of Equestrian Sports (FRMSE), this prestigious event runs from July 12 to July 19, under the esteemed patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
This significant gathering is set to attract nearly 400 participants across various categories, all vying for the coveted titles of Moroccan champions on the picturesque tracks of Dar Es Salam. The closing day on Sunday, July 19, promises to be a highlight of this year’s edition, featuring two highly anticipated events: the Prix de SAR Le Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan, a major event in the national equestrian sports arena that serves as the final for the U13 Moroccan Championship, and the Grand Prix of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the ultimate test of skill and talent that represents the prestigious finale of the Senior Moroccan Championship.
The program also includes an array of competitions such as the Special Olympics Morocco Championship, the Moroccan Championships in dressage (categories A, B, and C), club championships, and various senior, amateur, intermediate, cadet, and minor championships (U13, U18, and U21). Additionally, it features pony championships (A, B, and C), amateur competitions, and military championships (A and B), alongside the Moroccan pony dressage championships (A, B, and C). This event not only showcases the prowess of equestrians but also fosters a spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship among participants.
