Celebrating Agricultural Excellence in Morocco
On the evening of April 23, 2026, King Mohammed VI hosted a grand dinner in honor of the guests and participants attending the 18th edition of the International Agriculture Exhibition in Morocco (SIAM), which took place in Meknes. This prestigious event was presided over by Aziz Akhannouch, the Prime Minister of Morocco. The dinner was graced by prominent figures including the heads of both houses of parliament, government officials, and African ministers involved in the agricultural sector. Additionally, it was attended by members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Morocco, along with the governors of the Fès-Meknès region and other distinguished personalities.
During this significant occasion, Prime Minister Akhannouch presented awards to recognize the outstanding contributions of the top twelve production units from each region and sector, as well as the best sixteen contributions to the SIAM centers. These awards serve as a testament to the dedication and efforts made towards enhancing the agricultural sector and ensuring food security within Morocco.
