L'Boulevard Festival 2026: Unveiling of the 15 Selected Artists
The highly anticipated L'Boulevard Festival is set to host its 24th edition from September 17 to September 20, 2026, at the R.U.C stadium in Casablanca. This annual event, which has been a cornerstone for contemporary music in Morocco since its inception in 1999, will showcase 15 talented artists and groups that have been meticulously selected across three distinct categories: 7 in rap/hip-hop, 4 in rock/metal, and 4 in fusion/other modern music genres. The Tremplin initiative, specifically designed to support emerging music talents, aims to provide these artists with a platform to perform live and connect with industry professionals.
Applications for this year’s event were received from a wide array of cities throughout Morocco, highlighting the festival's national appeal. Notable cities include Rabat, Boumalne Dadès, Kénitra, and Zagora, with submissions extending to Khouribga, Oujda, Marrakech, Salé, and beyond. This year, the rap/hip-hop category continues to assert its significance among the submitted applications, showcasing a rich diversity of lyrical styles and artistic expressions.
Each selected artist will perform according to the following schedule: On Thursday, September 17, the rap/hip-hop category will feature artists such as Funk Clan from Salé, BrownY Original from Casablanca, Koga from Oujda/Ahfir, among others. The following day, Friday, September 18, will highlight the fusion and other contemporary music categories with performers like Arinass from Fès and Oxor from Marrakech. Finally, on Saturday, September 19, rock and metal enthusiasts will enjoy performances from artists like Anora from Kénitra and Darih from Casablanca. The festival will culminate with an award ceremony on September 20, 2026, where prizes of 15,000 MAD for first place and 10,000 MAD for second place will be awarded in each category, along with a week of training and the opportunity to record a piece at the HIBA Studio, a festival partner.
This event not only serves as a competition but also as a celebration of Morocco's vibrant music scene, providing a unique opportunity for the 15 selected artists to showcase their talents and connect with a broader audience.
