L'Boulevard Festival Set to Ignite Casablanca This September
The vibrant city of Casablanca is gearing up for the highly anticipated 24th edition of the L'Boulevard festival, scheduled to take place from September 17 to 20, 2026, at the R.U.C stadium. This annual festival, organized by the EAC-L’Boulvart association, promises an exhilarating experience with free access for all attendees, showcasing the best of Morocco's underground music scene.
With a focus on contemporary music and urban cultures, L'Boulevard 2026 will feature a diverse lineup of artists from various regions of Morocco, as well as international acts. Genres such as rap, hip-hop, rock, metal, and innovative musical fusions will be prominently represented, ensuring that attendees can immerse themselves in a rich tapestry of sounds and styles. The festival is designed to be a live celebration of discovery and collective energy, highlighting the vibrant spirit of Morocco's music scene.
This year’s festival will include exclusive concerts, a creative market, and various parallel activities, all aimed at engaging the audience and enriching the overall experience. A standout feature of the festival is the Tremplin L’Boulevard, a platform dedicated to supporting young local bands and artists by providing them with visibility, experience, and opportunities to connect with audiences. Winners in each category will receive cash prizes of 15,000 dirhams (approximately $1,500) for first place and 10,000 dirhams for second place, alongside professional recording sessions and workshops to further their artistic projects.
The call for applications for the Tremplin remains open until June 20, 2026, with participation forms available online. This initiative exemplifies L'Boulevard's commitment to fostering a creative environment where music not only serves as entertainment but also as a means of expression and connection among diverse communities. With the 2026 edition, L'Boulevard reaffirms its dedication to being a space for transmission, risk-taking, and sharing, where musical paths intersect and where music is experienced as much as it is listened to.
