Maghreb Fes Denies Negotiations with Al Ahly for Sufyan Ben Jadida

Hicham Zarouki, the general director of Maghreb Fes, has officially addressed rumors surrounding the potential transfer of Sufyan Ben Jadida, the club's leading goal scorer, to Egyptian giants Al Ahly during the upcoming summer transfer window. These discussions were sparked by reports from Moroccan sports outlet, "Al-Montakhab," which indicated that Al Ahly had expressed interest in acquiring the prolific striker, who has been a standout performer in the Moroccan league this season.

During a segment on the show "Koura Ma'a Fayek" aired on MBC Masr 2, Ibrahim Fayek shared Zarouki's statement, clarifying, "There are no negotiations currently taking place with Al Ahly regarding the transfer of Sufyan Ben Jadida." This statement aims to quell speculation and reassure fans of the club's intentions concerning their star player.

Zarouki further elaborated, stating that the club has no intentions of selling Ben Jadida, especially after he recently extended his contract until 2032. The management at Maghreb Fes is focused on their ambitious sporting project and considers Ben Jadida an integral part of their plans, which is why they renewed his contract and are not considering any offers for his transfer.

Currently, the club's focus remains on their existing tournaments in Morocco, emphasizing that they are not looking to part ways with their key player at this critical juncture. Sufyan Ben Jadida has had an impressive season thus far, netting 15 goals and providing two assists over the course of just 17 matches, establishing himself as the top scorer in the Moroccan league.

On the other hand, Al Ahly is preparing for a crucial match against Al Masry on Wednesday, May 20, as part of the final round of the Egyptian Premier League. The team needs a victory while hoping for losses from their rivals, Zamalek and Pyramids, to secure the league title for the current 2025-2026 season.
