Authorities Uncover Disturbing Child Exploitation Case
In a significant operation, the judicial police forces under the Moroccan Royal Gendarmerie have successfully dismantled a suspected network involved in the exploitation of a minor in a villa located in the Tamanar area. This operation was conducted under the supervision of the regional command and led to the arrest of several individuals linked to this disturbing case.
According to the available information, the raid resulted in the apprehension of six Indian nationals, alongside the manager of a well-known restaurant and nightclub in the Kéliz area. The origins of this case trace back to a complaint filed by the victim at the gendarmerie, where she reported being lured from a nightclub and subsequently taken to a villa, where she was subjected to exploitation and abuse under alarming circumstances.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the minor had been frequenting the nightclub in violation of legal regulations, ultimately making her a target for individuals suspected of being involved in activities related to the exploitation of minors and sexual tourism. The security services initiated a thorough investigation that included reviewing surveillance camera footage and interviewing various staff and security personnel, enabling them to identify and apprehend the suspects.
A judicial investigation has been launched under the supervision of the appropriate public prosecutor's office to uncover any additional potential accomplices and ascertain the number of victims. Authorities are continuing to investigate the villa's alleged involvement in illegal activities.
