Significant Drug Trafficking Operation in Agadir
In a recent operation that underscores the ongoing battle against drug trafficking in Morocco, the judicial police in Agadir successfully seized a staggering 7,300 ecstasy tablets. This operation led to the arrest of two young men, both of whom have prior criminal records. The first suspect was apprehended in Aït Melloul while receiving a postal package from a European country, sent through a courier service. A thorough search of this package revealed the hidden ecstasy tablets, ingeniously concealed within consumer products to evade detection by security services. Following the discovery, investigators were able to identify a second accomplice, who was located and arrested in Dcheira, on the outskirts of Agadir. During this arrest, a large knife and a significant amount of cash were also confiscated.
