In a significant law enforcement operation, the judicial police of Marrakech, in coordination with the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, successfully seized a staggering 17,586 psychoactive pills and apprehended four individuals aged between 20 and 40 years on Monday. These arrests were made under the suspicion of their involvement in drug possession and trafficking activities.
According to security sources, this operation was conducted across various neighborhoods in the city of Marrakech. The suspects were caught red-handed while engaging in the illegal distribution of narcotics. Following their arrest, a thorough search led to the confiscation of the impressive quantity of drugs, which included different types of medical narcotics, as well as two vehicles believed to have been used to facilitate these criminal endeavors.
Furthermore, it was revealed that checks conducted on the suspects against the national security database indicated that one of them was already subject to multiple national arrest warrants due to his alleged involvement in similar drug trafficking offenses.
