Infrastructure Development for Grand Stade Hassan II
The Regional Multi-Service Company (SRM) of Casablanca-Settat has initiated significant infrastructure works aimed at providing potable water to the future Grand Stade Hassan II located in Benslimane. This ambitious project, which represents a substantial investment of 166 million dirhams, includes the construction of a water reservoir with a capacity of 10,000 cubic meters and the installation of a distribution network extending over 16 kilometers.
As part of this endeavor, the SRM will also be constructing and equipping a pumping station capable of delivering water at a rate of 260 liters per second. These enhancements are essential not only for the stadium's operational needs but also for the surrounding community, ensuring a reliable supply of drinking water. The commencement of these works reflects a commitment to support large-scale sporting events and infrastructure in the region.
This development is crucial as Morocco gears up to host various international events, where the availability of essential services such as water will play a pivotal role in the success of such gatherings. The SRM’s efforts will ensure that the Grand Stade Hassan II is well-equipped to meet the demands of both athletes and spectators alike.
