Global Industry Leaders Gather at MAS
Organized by the Association of Space, Aeronautics, and Defense Exhibitions (ASSAD), in collaboration with Morocco's Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Transport, National Defense Administration, the Royal Armed Forces, and the Royal Gendarmerie, as well as with support from the AMDIE, ONDA, RAM, and CDG, the Marrakech Airshow is reaching new strategic heights this year. Major global players in the aerospace and defense sectors, including Lockheed Martin, L3Harris, Airbus, Boeing, Safran, Thales, Embraer, RTX Corporation, IAI, Elbit Systems, Tata Advanced Systems, and Harmattan AI, will showcase their innovations alongside leading Moroccan enterprises. This diverse participation highlights the growing stature of MAS as a premier platform for networking, business opportunities, and technological exchange within the industry.
In line with its mission, the Marrakech Airshow will also spotlight the significant advancements made by the Moroccan aerospace industry and the diversification of its segments. Morocco is establishing itself as a hub for high-value technological solutions, encompassing engineering, maintenance, embedded electronics, digital technologies, and research and development. These capabilities enhance the local ecosystem and position it at increasingly strategic points within the global aerospace value chain.
According to Taoufiq Moucharraf, President of ASSAD, this eighth edition of the Marrakech Airshow underscores Morocco's achievements and its growing international influence. He remarked, "The MAS serves as both a showcase for technological innovations shaping the future of the sector and a lever to support Morocco's ambitions for upgrading its aerospace industry and developing its defense industrial and technological base." The 2026 edition in Marrakech will also feature an air show program, bringing together a selection of next-generation aircraft and platforms. Attendees can expect flight demonstrations, aerial presentations, and exhibitions that will allow visitors and professionals to explore the technological advancements, performance capabilities, and expertise driving the evolution of modern aviation.
Furthermore, the Airshow will host a comprehensive program of strategic panels, professional meetings, and discussions focused on the challenges and transformations facing the industry. Key topics will include industrial sovereignty, resilience and security of value chains, digitalization, complex systems, and skills development, ensuring that the event remains at the forefront of industry discourse.
