A Mobile Initiative Supporting Moroccans Abroad
The "Urbanism and Housing Caravan at the Service of Moroccans Abroad" made a stop in Marrakech on Sunday as part of a nationwide campaign initiated by the Ministry of National Territorial Development, Urbanism, Housing, and City Policy, coinciding with the "Marhaba 2026" operation. This two-day event, held from August 23 to 24, provides a mobile reception and orientation space specifically designed for Moroccan diaspora members. The aim is to inform them about various programs and services related to urbanism and housing.
Facilitating Access to Housing and Urban Services
This caravan, which sees the participation of the Marrakech Urban Agency, the Regional Directorate of Housing and City Policy, and Al Omrane Group, serves as a platform for disseminating information about the direct housing assistance program "Daam Sakan." It also highlights the administrative and technical services offered by Urban Agencies, along with real estate offerings and investment opportunities presented by Al Omrane. This initiative aligns with the royal directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, emphasizing the importance of addressing the needs and expectations of Moroccans living abroad. The ministry is committed to continuously enhancing the quality of services provided to these citizens and fostering better relationships between the administration and the public.
In tandem with this caravan, Al Omrane Group has made available to citizens its digital platform "www.alomrane.gov.ma," which allows easy access to all real estate offers and services. Additionally, they have set up an economic hotline at "0801001516" to ensure ongoing support and prompt responses to inquiries from the diaspora. Through this exceptional mobilization, the Ministry of National Territorial Development, Urbanism, Housing, and City Policy reaffirms its unwavering commitment to implementing the royal directives aimed at supporting Moroccans worldwide. This includes providing local services, simplifying procedures, and facilitating access to urbanism, housing, and investment programs.
To ensure the success of this initiative, various regional components of the ministry have mobilized a multidisciplinary team to offer guidance and support to diaspora members. Various communication tools have also been made available to meet their expectations and streamline their administrative processes during their stay in Morocco.
