Marrakech Launches National Initiative for Educational Support Program

The Marrakech administrative district has announced the launch of a significant educational support initiative as part of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) for the year 2026. This initiative aims to solicit interest from associations and non-governmental organizations involved in educational fields to contribute to the execution of a school support project for students residing in student dormitories within the Marrakech locality.

This project is particularly essential as it seeks to enhance the quality of education, improve academic achievement, and reduce school dropout rates. By providing tutoring sessions across various subjects, it targets students who benefit from the dormitory facilities administered by the local authorities.

According to the announcement, several dormitories will be included in the initiative, such as the Dar Al-Child in Bab Aghmat, the Dar Al-Talib in Sidi Youssef Ben Ali, the Dar Al-Taliba in Tissalant, the Dar Al-Talib at Mbarrah Mohammed V, the Dar Al-Talib in Qatara, and the Dar Al-Taliba in Oulad Dlim, allowing over a thousand students to benefit from the program.

For associations interested in applying, the Marrakech authorities require that they maintain a legal status and that their primary activities be aligned with educational support. Additionally, they must demonstrate experience in managing educational projects and have adequate human resources and logistics to implement the program effectively.

The application file includes both administrative and technical aspects, along with a financial proposal, and must cover the execution of the project for the academic year 2026-2027. Applicants are required to attach a bank account certificate and all necessary documents.

The application window is open from July 13 to July 31, 2026, with submissions to be made at the registration office of the Marrakech administration within the specified deadlines, adhering to the conditions and documentation outlined in the interest expression announcement.

This initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of the National Initiative for Human Development to support education, promote equal opportunities, and assist students from vulnerable backgrounds, thereby improving their educational trajectories and enhancing their chances of success.
