Marrakech Medical School Recruitment Announcement
The Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in Marrakech is set to conduct a recruitment examination for the position of nine (09) lecturers, scheduled for July 6, 2026. The positions available span several specialties, including:
- Hematology: One position (01)
- Biochemistry: One position (01)
- Medical and Clinical Specialties:
- Anesthesia and Intensive Care: One position (01)
- Cardiology: One position (01)
- Psychiatry: One position (01)
- Clinical Hematology: One position (01)
- Surgery and Surgical Specialties:
- Wound Care and Casting: One position (01)
- Peripheral Vascular Surgery: One position (01)
- Ear, Nose, and Throat Disorders: One position (01)
This recruitment opportunity is open to both civilian and military candidates who have completed the required residency period at the clinical centers affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy or Dentistry. The minimum residency period is set at four years for medical, pharmacy, or dental specialties, and five years for surgical specialties or internal medicine.
Applicants must demonstrate that they have completed an additional year in practice, training, or internship related to the specified specialties with a standard residency duration of three years.
Military doctors, pharmacists, and dentists who successfully passed the assistant examination in foreign military hospitals and have served:
- A minimum of four years as an assistant in specified foreign military hospitals, as stated in Article 24-C, or as a resident in a clinical and university center for medical or dental specialties.
- A minimum of five years in actual service as an assistant in foreign military hospitals or as a resident in a clinical and university center for surgical specialties and internal medicine.
- A minimum of four years in actual service within military formations for those who passed the assistant examination before June 2, 1993.
Candidates must submit their applications for registration, written on plain paper, to the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in Marrakech. The deadline for submitting applications is June 5, 2026.
The application must include the candidate’s first and last name, address, and the specialty they wish to compete in.
Additionally, candidates should provide a statement of titles and practical work experience, along with a report of the university clinical tasks they have undertaken.
Documents (A) and (B) mentioned above must be either certified by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy that issued them or validated for authenticity by the competent authorities for Moroccan candidates holding foreign qualifications. In this case, the concerned faculty reserves the right to request the original copies of the aforementioned qualifications.
