Marrakech Menara International Airport has reported a significant increase in passenger traffic, with a remarkable growth rate of 10.40% as of the end of February 2026, compared to the same period in 2025. According to data from the National Office of Airports, the airport welcomed a total of 1,769,912 travelers during the first two months of the current year, in contrast to 1,603,193 passengers recorded by the same point in 2025. The distribution of air traffic revealed that the airport served 1,700,720 international travelers, marking an increase of 9.76%, while domestic flights accounted for 69,192 passengers, reflecting a notable surge of 28.98%.

Focusing on February alone, the airport received 899,058 passengers, which is a rise of 7.44% compared to 836,792 passengers during the same month in the previous year. Among the top five international routes, the Marrakech-Paris Orly route topped the list with 65,475 passengers, representing 2.61% of total traffic. Following closely were the Mohammed V-Jeddah route with 53,104 passengers (2.12%), the Mohammed V-Paris Orly route with 49,082 passengers (1.90%), the Marrakech-London Gatwick route with 45,323 passengers (1.81%), and finally the Marrakech-Charles de Gaulle route with 40,101 passengers (1.60%). This performance underscores the dynamic nature of air transport at Marrakech Menara Airport, which serves as one of the key gateways for tourism into Morocco.

On a national scale, Morocco's airports recorded a total of 5,909,802 commercial passengers by the end of February 2026, reflecting a growth rate of 7.91% compared to the same period last year. The distribution of air traffic data reveals that the country's airports welcomed 5,308,935 passengers on international flights (an increase of 8.18%) and 600,867 passengers on domestic flights (up 5.60%).
