The distribution of air traffic between national and international flights during this period indicated that the airport catered to 1,700,720 passengers on international routes, reflecting a 9.76% increase, while domestic flights saw 69,192 travelers, which is a significant rise of 28.98%.
In February alone, Marrakech Menara Airport accommodated 899,058 passengers, marking a 7.44% increase compared to the 836,792 passengers during the same month last year. Notably, the top five international routes contributing to this influx included the Marrakech-Paris Orly route, which led with 65,475 passengers, representing 2.61% of the total traffic. Following closely were the Mohammed V-Jeddah route with 53,104 passengers (2.12%), the Mohammed V-Paris Orly route with 49,082 passengers (1.90%), the Marrakech-London Gatwick route with 45,323 passengers (1.81%), and the Marrakech-Charles de Gaulle route with 40,101 passengers (1.60%). On a national scale, Morocco's airports collectively recorded a total of 5,909,802 commercial passengers by the end of February 2026, reflecting a growth of 7.91% compared to the same period last year, according to the National Airports Office. The distribution of air traffic between national and international flights at the end of February 2026 revealed that Moroccan airports served 5,308,935 passengers on international flights, which is an increase of 8.18%, while domestic flights accounted for 600,867 passengers, marking a growth of 5.60%.
