According to ONDA's statistics on commercial air traffic for June 2026, the airport welcomed a total of 5,636,776 passengers during the first half of the year, up from 5,105,518 in the same timeframe last year. Specifically, for the month of June alone, the airport managed to accommodate 843,375 passengers, compared to 785,641 travelers in June 2025, showcasing a clear upward trend in air travel.
A further breakdown of passenger traffic for June 2026 reveals that the Marrakech-Menara International Airport served 806,082 international travelers—an increase of 7.03%—and 37,293 domestic passengers, which marks a significant 14.66% rise compared to the previous year. This strong performance underscores the growing connectivity and popularity of the airport for both international and national flights.
In terms of international routes, the top five in June were led by the Marrakech-Menara to Paris-Orly route, which brought in 73,621 travelers, accounting for 2.66% of the traffic. It was followed by the Mohammed V to Paris-Orly route with 64,984 passengers (2.34%), the Marrakech-Menara to Paris-CDG route with 50,909 travelers (1.84%), the Mohammed V to Paris-CDG route with 44,057 passengers (1.59%), and the Mohammed V to Jeddah route with 37,877 travelers (1.37%). These figures cement the airport's status as a key gateway for tourists visiting Morocco.
On a national level, Moroccan airports collectively recorded a commercial traffic of 18,831,461 passengers by the end of June 2026, marking an impressive 8.83% increase compared to the same period last year.
