In a swift response, the fourth security district in Marrakech successfully apprehended two minors early Thursday morning, suspected of being involved in the vandalism of an ATM located on Avenue Prince Moulay Rachid, near the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square. According to sources from the local newspaper, the act of vandalism was executed by two boys, approximately 16 years old, who hail from the historic part of the city. They reportedly smashed the glass of the ATM before fleeing towards Jemaa el-Fnaa.

The apprehended minors were taken to the police station where an official record of their arrest was created, and further investigations were initiated. Following the proper legal protocols, they were subsequently referred to the juvenile division of the judicial police, as per the directives from the relevant public prosecutor.
