A substantial budget of 1.26 billion dirhams has been allocated for the fourth phase of the enhancement project at the Marrakech Stadium, aimed at modernizing the facility's electrical and technical equipment, and enhancing its readiness to meet the standards required for hosting major competitions. This initiative is part of a broader effort to ensure that the stadium is equipped with cutting-edge technology that includes advanced fire detection and automatic extinguishing systems. Moreover, it will upgrade the infrastructure for information and telecommunication networks as well as install state-of-the-art LED screens that will display content and information during matches and events.
Enhanced Safety and Broadcasting Capabilities
The project also emphasizes the importance of safety and monitoring systems, as it will integrate a comprehensive access control system along with advanced video surveillance equipment. In addition, it will upgrade the audio systems and install emergency sound alarms to manage crowd control and evacuations when necessary. Furthermore, the enhancements will include the establishment of a modern television broadcasting network and an accurate sports timing system, complemented by advanced audiovisual distribution networks to boost the technical capabilities of the stadium during significant sports events.
