The German group Masterflex, listed in Frankfurt and renowned for manufacturing technical hoses and connection systems, has announced its Moroccan subsidiary, Masterduct Morocco, will participate for the first time in the Marrakech Air Show. This prestigious event is set to take place from October 7 to 10 at the Royal Air Forces base in Marrakech, showcasing an array of aviation-related conduits, hoses, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.

Located at booth M10 in the M zone, Masterduct Morocco aims to present its comprehensive aviation product range to an international audience of industry professionals. The company is keen on engaging directly with clients, partners, and sector experts, according to the group. This exhibition precedes the anticipated launch of its new factory in Nouaceur, near Casablanca, with production expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026 and initial deliveries slated before the year's end.

Organizationally linked to Matzen & Timm, Masterflex's division dedicated to aerospace, Masterduct Morocco is in Marrakech to target a clientele of manufacturers and equipment suppliers. The group views this inaugural participation as a pivotal opportunity to expand its international footprint and forge new connections within the aerospace industry, in a nation that has evolved over the past two decades into a strategic hub for innovation and production in the global aerospace sector.

In terms of investment, approximately 50 million dirhams is allocated for the Nouaceur facility, which spans 4,000 square meters. This factory is expected to produce specialized hoses, bellows, molded parts, and high-tech elastomer connection systems, as well as technical textiles. Masterflex plans to create around 77 direct jobs at this new site, which is aimed to bolster the local economy and technological expertise. Furthermore, an additional plot of 4,000 square meters has been reserved for future expansion.

The construction of this site has increased the group's investments to 3.3 million euros (around 35 million dirhams) in the first half of 2026, compared to 1.3 million euros (approximately 14 million dirhams) the previous year. Masterflex has maintained its annual revenue forecast within the range of 103 to 108 million euros (approximately 1.1 to 1.16 billion dirhams) and an operating profit of 13 to 16 million euros (about 139 to 171 million dirhams), while noting that startup costs in Morocco may have a slight negative impact on its financial results for the fiscal year.

Moreover, the project is backed by an agreement signed with the Moroccan government during the seventh edition of the Air Show in the autumn of 2024, focused on establishing a flexible conduit manufacturing plant for the aerospace industry in the Casablanca region. This agreement was part of four deals concluded on the same day related to the local supply chain for the American aircraft manufacturer Boeing, alongside the expansion of the Structural Aerospace Morocco (SAM) site, a subsidiary of Avia Group Industries, in Nouaceur.

Headquartered in Gelsenkirchen, Ruhr, Masterflex encompasses six brands (Masterflex, Matzen & Timm, Novoplast Schlauchtechnik, Fleima-Plastic, Masterduct, and APT) and operates production and sales sites across Europe, America, and Asia. The Masterduct brand, which has a presence in North and South America with subsidiaries in Brazil and the USA, specializes in spiral hoses and HVAC systems designed for acoustic attenuation.
