Matthias Walkner Triumphs in Morocco Rally's T4-SSV Class
The former motorcycle racer Matthias Walkner has achieved a remarkable victory at the Morocco Rally, securing the overall championship in the T4-SSV category. The Salzburg native, alongside his Spanish co-driver Oriol Mena, celebrated their third stage win on Saturday during the fifth and final leg, which comprised 259 competitive kilometers. Having previously won the Dakar Rally on a motorcycle in 2018, Walkner is now setting his sights on a new challenge as he prepares to compete on four wheels for the first time at the upcoming desert classic in January.
