Support Program for Retiring Educators
The Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works in National Education recently hosted a significant event in Rabat, marking the retirement of 6,000 of its members. This initiative is part of a broader program designed to assist educators during their transition from active service to retirement. The Foundation, which boasts a membership of 560,000, collaborated with the Moroccan Retirement Fund (CMR) and the General Mutual Fund for National Education (MGEN) to execute this program effectively.
Now in its eleventh year, this annual ceremony serves as a vital platform for supporting educators in navigating the complexities associated with retirement. Organizers emphasized that the initiative aims to facilitate a smoother transition for members, providing them with essential resources and information about their retirement benefits.
Enhancing Member Engagement
During this event, retiring educators had the opportunity to prepare their re-enrollment applications and inquire about various social services offered by both the Foundation and its partners, including the retirement bonus application process. This engagement reflects the Foundation’s commitment to maintaining close ties with its members, ensuring that both active and retired educators have access to necessary support.
The Mohammed VI Foundation operates under a strategic ten-year plan from 2018 to 2028, which prioritizes the needs of its members. The Foundation is dedicated to continually expanding and improving its range of services to better meet the social needs of the education community across Morocco, enhancing their overall well-being.
