Innovative Defense Solutions Unveiled by ABA Technology

In a significant advancement for Morocco's defense capabilities, ABA Technology has presented five cutting-edge interconnected defense systems at the Marrakech Air Show 2026. This collection of innovative solutions encompasses a wide array of technologies, including surveillance equipment, drones, and a sophisticated artificial intelligence platform that integrates ground data with command operations. Each system is designed to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness in defense scenarios.

The showcased systems include Falcon Eye, an optical and electronic system engineered for long-range surveillance; Burj, a protective solution aimed at counteracting drone threats; Argon, a drone specifically designed for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions; and Scorpion, an autonomous ground robot capable of executing field operations. The fifth offering, Fusion AI for Defense Systems, consolidates data from all these devices, providing a cohesive operational view that streamlines decision-making processes while ensuring that human operators remain central to the decision-making framework.

ABA Technology has gradually entered the defense sector, initially delivering voice recorders to the Royal Navy in 2024, followed by rigorous field testing and the successful certification of its optical and electronic camera in 2025. This latest range of products represents a continuation of their commitment to integrating advanced technology into defense systems, particularly through the Fusion AI platform.

According to Mohamed Benouda, the president of ABA Technology, the systems displayed are the culmination of extensive efforts since 2023. He emphasized the company’s ambition to bolster Morocco's technological capacity by developing a comprehensive range of solutions, from equipment design and manufacturing to artificial intelligence and command-and-control systems. This initiative aligns with the vision of enhancing Morocco's defense industry and reinforcing its industrial and technological sovereignty, as directed by King Mohammed VI. Furthermore, ABA Technology aims to establish itself as a leading designer, manufacturer, and integrator of interconnected defense systems within the country.
