The Marrakech Primary Court has handed down a suspended five-month prison sentence to Moroccan content creator Abdelilah, popularly known as "King of the Whale." In addition to his sentence, he has been fined and barred from engaging in any activities on social media for a duration of five years. Furthermore, his personal accounts and channels have been ordered to be closed.
Abdelilah faced serious charges, including inciting discrimination and hatred through electronic means, as well as capturing, recording, and broadcasting images of individuals in private settings without their consent. He was also accused of spreading false claims and information intended to harm private lives and defame individuals.
