Moroccan Forward Murad Batna Departing for Home Amid Health Concerns

Murad Batna's Departure to Morocco

In a recent development within the Saudi football scene, Murad Batna, the Moroccan forward for Al-Fateh FC, is set to leave for Morocco due to urgent family health matters. This decision comes as Batna is unable to participate in the upcoming final match against Al-Khulood in the Roshen Saudi League, scheduled for Thursday in Al-Rass. Sources close to the club have confirmed that the management has granted him permission to travel to his home country to check on his father's health, which has been a concern for the player.

Batna, aged 35, missed out on the previous game against Al-Najma and will also be absent from the crucial match against Al-Khulood, effectively concluding his season with Al-Fateh. Throughout the current season, Batna has made significant contributions, appearing in 32 matches across all competitions, including three in the King's Cup. His impressive performance includes scoring 10 goals and providing eight assists, showcasing his crucial role in the team.

Since joining Al-Fateh in the summer of 2020, Batna has played in a total of 158 matches, netting 60 goals and assisting 43 times, while also receiving 26 yellow cards and two red cards. His experience and skill on the pitch have made him a valuable asset for the team. This unforeseen departure marks a pivotal moment for both the player and the club as they navigate the final stages of the league.
