From the moment I wake up until I go to sleep, and sometimes even during the night, this pain has been constant. Despite all the medical protocols followed over the past few months, it was unfortunately not enough. Therefore, undergoing surgery became inevitable."
He continued by expressing gratitude to Dr. Gilles Ripoll, who performed the surgery, and Dr. Christophe Boudo from the national team for their meticulous follow-up. He also extended his thanks to the medical staff at Olympique Marseille for their unwavering support from start to finish.
Aguerd acknowledged that the decision to have surgery should have been made earlier, but he wanted to explore all possible solutions before reaching this point. "Now is the time for rest and recovery, with the sole goal of being ready in time to help Olympique Marseille in the final stages of the season, this time at 100% and without pain," he affirmed.
