Moroccan National Teams Touch Down in Taranto
The Moroccan national teams, including the under-20 men's squad and the under-17 women's team, have successfully arrived in Taranto, Italy, as of Wednesday evening. The teams traveled from Casablanca via a direct flight, gearing up for the 20th edition of the Mediterranean Games scheduled to take place from August 21 to September 3, 2026.
The under-20 men's team is set to compete in Group A alongside Turkey, Tunisia, and North Macedonia. Meanwhile, the women's under-17 team will face tough competition in Group B, which includes Italy, Algeria, Kosovo, and Albania. The Moroccan under-20 squad will kick off their tournament with a match against Turkey on Saturday, August 22, at 8:00 PM Moroccan time. Following this, they will take on Tunisia on Monday morning, August 24, starting at 9:30 AM, and conclude their group stage with a game against North Macedonia on Wednesday, August 26.
