Major Drug Trafficking Arrest in Marrakech
On the night of May 30, law enforcement officials from the fifth criminal brigade of the Marrakech Security Directorate apprehended a woman with a criminal record, suspected of being involved in the possession and illegal trafficking of a substance known as "silicone glue," commonly used for illicit drug administration. During the operation, authorities caught the suspect red-handed with three containers of the substance. Further legal search procedures conducted at her residence led to the discovery of an additional 110 containers, bringing the total number of seized items to 113.
This operation is part of the ongoing security efforts by Marrakech police to combat the illegal distribution of substances that pose significant risks to public health, particularly among vulnerable populations. The suspect is currently undergoing judicial investigation under the supervision of the appropriate public prosecutor's office to determine all circumstances and details surrounding the case, as well as potential connections to broader trafficking networks. She will be presented before judicial authorities for legal proceedings.
