The Moroccan All Shares index saw an increase of 0.38%, reflecting a robust performance in the marketplace and an optimistic outlook among investors.

Leading the charge on the Moroccan All Shares was IB Maroc Com SA (CSE:IBC), which achieved an impressive rise of 9.24%, translating to a gain of 4.99 points, bringing its closing price to 58.99. Following closely was Societe des Boissons du Maroc SA (CSE:SBM), which enjoyed an increase of 8.40% or 168.00 points to close at 2,168.00. Additionally, Ste de Travaux de Realisation d’Ouvrages et de Constuction Industielle SA (CSE:STR) experienced a notable uptick of 7.40%, adding 12.40 points to reach a closing price of 180.00.

Market Dynamics and Commodity Trends

On the downside, the session saw some declines with Aluminum du Maroc SA (CSE:ALM) slipping 2.44%, or 45.00 points, to settle at 1,800.00. Miniere Touissit (CSE:CMT) also faced a downturn, dropping 1.85% or 85.00 points, closing at 4,515.00, while Micro Data SA (CSE:MIC) fell by 1.79%, losing 14.00 points to end at 766.00. Despite these setbacks, the overall sentiment on the Casablanca Stock Exchange remained positive, with 36 stocks advancing compared to 23 that declined, while 3 stocks remained unchanged.

In the commodities market, crude oil prices for August delivery decreased by 0.78%, settling at $78.72 per barrel. Brent oil for September delivery also saw a decline of 1.29%, dropping to $83.64 per barrel. Meanwhile, gold futures for August traded down by 0.21%, reaching $4,061.02 per troy ounce. Currency fluctuations revealed that the EUR/MAD increased by 0.17% to 10.66, and the USD/MAD also rose by 0.17% to 9.34, while the US Dollar Index Futures saw a slight decline of 0.20% at 100.51.
