Morocco Among Few Contributors to Trump's Board of Peace Fund

Limited Contributions to the Board of Peace Fund

On April 10, Reuters reported that out of the ten countries that pledged financial support to Donald Trump's 'Board of Peace', only three— the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, and the United States— actually delivered any funds. The total amount raised is less than one billion dollars, which is a minuscule fraction of the 17 billion dollars that had been prominently announced during the inaugural meeting held on February 19 in Washington.

This information has been widely circulated by various media outlets, including the Jerusalem Post, New Republic, and Haaretz, which have reported that only two countries contributed, conveniently excluding the United States from their count. This narrative has led to a consensus that the Peace Board is experiencing a financial drought, with Morocco being one of the few nations that stepped up to contribute. However, the question remains: what exactly did Morocco pay for?
