In a recent advisory, the General Directorate of Meteorology in Morocco has issued a warning regarding an impending heatwave that is set to engulf various regions of the country. The alert has been categorized as an orange-level warning, indicating a significant risk associated with the expected extreme temperatures. Expected Temperature Ranges Across Regions
The meteorological report highlights that certain areas such as Zakoura, Tata, Smara, Asah Zaq, Boujdour, and regions within Oued Eddahab and Osrd are likely to experience soaring temperatures ranging between 43°C to 45°C. Meanwhile, other regions including Youssoufia, Beni Mellal, Fquih Ben Salah, Errachidia, Khénifra, and others are expected to see temperatures ranging from 40°C to 43°C.
