According to Minister Ammor, the Go Siyaha program is designed to create over 150 jobs, both directly and indirectly, highlighting the initiative's potential to stimulate local economies while enhancing the overall tourism landscape. Launched with the intent of modernizing the tourism sector, Go Siyaha is managed by the Morocco SME Agency and focuses on supporting innovative and diverse tourism offerings. By the year 2026, the program aims to assist approximately 1,700 tourism businesses, fostering a sustainable transformation within the sector.

Strengthening Connectivity and Investment

In addition to financial support for tourism projects, Morocco is enhancing its air travel infrastructure, exemplified by easyJet's recent establishment of its first African base at Marrakech-Menara Airport. This strategic move, which took place on April 13, signifies a substantial expansion of easyJet's operations within Morocco, backed by an investment exceeding €300 million. With this new hub, the airline is expected to provide up to 4 million seats in its inaugural year, significantly boosting accessibility to various regions across the country. The introduction of 58 new routes will not only facilitate travel for tourists but also promote Morocco as a competitive destination on the global stage.
