The competition took place from April 6 to April 11 in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where teams from various European and African nations participated. Morocco was placed in Pool B alongside Bulgaria, South Africa, Egypt, and North Macedonia.
Throughout the tournament, the Moroccan team exhibited impressive skills, finishing in third place in their group. They achieved two victories, defeating Egypt with a score of 2-1 and dominating North Macedonia 3-0. However, they faced setbacks against Bulgaria and South Africa, losing 1-2 and 0-3, respectively. The decisive moment came when Morocco triumphed over the host country, Bosnia and Herzegovina, clinching a vital 2-1 win that ensured their retention in Group II Europe/Africa after being promoted the previous season.
Following the competition, Bulgaria and Greece celebrated their promotion to Group I Europe/Africa, while Morocco, alongside teams like Finland, successfully secured their place in Group II. The Moroccan delegation consisted of talented players Yasmine Kabbaj, Diae El Jardi, Salma Loudili, and Ghita Sebbar, supported by coaches Mehdi Ait Barhouch and Mohamed Rharbal.
