Exciting Clash: Morocco Takes on Mali in Friendly Match
The international window for Morocco culminates this Sunday as the national team prepares for a friendly match against Mali in Tanger. Following their victories against Gabon (2-0) and Lesotho (0-2), the Lions of the Atlas initially scheduled a friendly against Ghana. However, due to complications faced by the Black Stars, who are currently in a conflict with their federation and without a coach after Carlos Queiroz's resignation, the match was canceled. Consequently, Mali, whose fixture against Tunisia was also called off, will make the journey to northern Morocco for this encounter.
As both teams gear up for this exciting match, it's worth noting that Mali has also started its campaign for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations on a strong note, securing wins against Cape Verde (3-1) and Liberia (1-0). The Morocco vs Mali match will kick off on Sunday, October 4, at 18:00 local time (20:00 French time). Fans can watch the game live on Arryadia, the Moroccan television channel. Currently, there are no plans for it to be broadcast in France.
