Morocco Crowned Champion at the 2026 Billiards Championship
In a remarkable display of skill and determination, the Moroccan national billiards team has clinched the title at the 2026 African and World Billiards Championship. The decisive final match took place in the vibrant city of Marrakech, where Morocco faced off against Northern Ireland. The Moroccan team emerged victorious, securing an 11-9 win, marking their second global title in this prestigious competition, with their first win dating back to 2014.
This year's championship was a grand event, featuring around 300 players representing approximately 18 countries. The competition was intense, as athletes competed across 24 categories including team, individual, doubles, and masters events, showcasing their exceptional talent and passion for the sport.
