Morocco Opens Its Doors to Digital Investors
In a recent statement, Moroccan Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch highlighted the country's readiness to welcome investors in the digital sector, underscoring the robust infrastructure, stability, and skilled workforce that Morocco offers. The government has initiated the rollout of 5G technology, aiming to cover 45% of the population by the end of 2026 and 85% by 2030. During his address, Akhannouch also announced the arrival of a significant investment from a leading company in cloud services, which will establish public cloud service centers in Morocco. This initiative is expected to create over 700 job opportunities for young graduates, enabling them to develop future technologies, including artificial intelligence, for global markets. The Prime Minister reassured digital investors present at the event that Morocco is fully prepared to accommodate their investments, attributing this readiness to a solid institutional stability rooted in visionary royal leadership.
