"It's a bright, clear emerald green that astonishes everyone," he explains, highlighting that Morocco boasts a biodiversity that is far richer than desert stereotypes suggest. This rapid regeneration illustrates the resilience of local species in the face of critical periods of water scarcity. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the impact of this transformation is crucial for the country’s infrastructure. Reservoirs, which were at alarming lows, have experienced a notable recovery; a clear example is the Sidi Mohamed reservoir, which barely reached 30% of its capacity before the rains.
