NARSA Clarifies False SMS Claims
The National Road Safety Agency (NARSA) has officially denied claims that it has been sending text messages containing links for citizens to pay fines related to traffic violations. In a recent statement, the agency emphasized that these messages, which include a link directing recipients to a website for settling fines captured by fixed radar, are entirely fraudulent.
The agency clarified that it does not offer any such service, nor does it have any association with these deceptive text messages. NARSA urged citizens to remain vigilant and exercise utmost caution when confronted with such suspicious communications. They advised against clicking on these links and emphasized the importance of verifying the legitimacy of any website before engaging with it.
In light of this issue, NARSA has called upon all citizens to refrain from entering or sharing sensitive personal information, such as banking details or passwords, on these dubious sites. They also recommended that any suspicious activity or communications related to this matter be reported promptly to the relevant authorities.
