The National Railway Office (ONCF) has launched a significant tender valued at 104 million dirhams aimed at establishing connections for three electrical substations. This initiative is a critical technological step in the extension project for the high-speed train line towards Marrakech.
According to available data, the company, through its LGV Projects Division, plans to connect three strategic stations to the 225-kilovolt network belonging to the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE). This connection is essential to ensure a continuous power supply for the future railway segment.
The construction sites will span three primary regions: Benslimane, Settat, and Ben Guerir. In Benslimane, an electrical line measuring 16 kilometers will be laid, while overhead lines of 18 and 19 kilometers will be established from the substations in Settat and Ben Guerir to provide energy to the facilities.
The total budget for the project has been set at 104 million dirhams, excluding taxes. The selected contractor or contractors will be granted a period of up to 14 months to complete the high-voltage works, which include the installation of single-circuit lines.
