These new appointments, approved by the Director General of National Security, Abdellatif Hammouchi, encompass 14 significant roles aimed at bolstering public safety. Among these is the appointment of a Deputy Head of the Provincial Directorate of General Information in Meknes and the Head of the General Information Unit in Berrechid. Additionally, six security officials have been placed at the helm of police precincts in Marrakech, Ait Melloul, El Jadida, Safi, Youssoufia, and Meknes, including a female security officer leading a police station in El Jadida.

The recent reshuffle also involves the placement of security officials in other vital public safety roles. This includes the appointment of three heads of traffic accident units in Wislane, Meknes, and Casablanca, alongside the leadership of traffic units in Bir Jdid and Marrakech.

According to a statement regarding these appointments, the selection process for these key security positions has prioritized the recruitment of a new generation of qualified security officials.
