Significant Progress in the Case of Two Minors in Ba Muhammad

The case concerning the exploitation of two schoolgirls in Ba Muhammad village has recently seen a significant development. On the morning of Monday, June 8, 2026, the investigating judge at the Appeals Court in Fez concluded a detailed investigation with one of the nine detained suspects involved in this case. Among those accused are a local merchant and a pharmacist, both of whom are suspected of being involved in acts related to the enticement of minors and sexual assault without violence, as well as complicity in human trafficking, based on the available information surrounding the case.

Following the completion of the investigation procedures with the implicated individuals, the case has been forwarded to the public prosecutor at the Appeals Court in Fez to present final requests before a decision is made regarding the referral of the defendants to the Criminal Chamber for a preliminary hearing on the charges against them.

The public prosecution had previously sought to open an investigation against nine suspects after they were referred by the judicial police due to suspicions of committing acts related to the enticement of minors under the age of 18, sexual assault with violence, sexual assault without violence, and human trafficking.

The judiciary continues to complete the necessary procedures related to this case, which has generated considerable local interest, as the community awaits the outcomes of the next stages of prosecution and trial.
