New Harhoura Center Exit Launched to Alleviate Traffic Between Rabat and Temara

Enhancing Road Infrastructure for Better Traffic Flow

The National Motorway Company of Morocco (ADM) has officially announced the opening of a new exit ramp named "Harhoura Centre" as of July 10. This new infrastructure is designed to facilitate access to the center of Harhoura and significantly ease congestion at the Témara interchange, which has been heavily burdened during peak hours. The initiative is part of ADM's ongoing commitment to enhance the road infrastructure along the Rabat-Skhirat corridor, ensuring smoother transit for motorists traveling from Rabat to Harhoura.

Strategically located between the existing Témara interchange and the Aïn Atiq interchange, the Harhoura Centre exit provides direct access to the heart of Harhoura via the El Fellah road. Stretching approximately one kilometer, this new ramp serves as a vital alternative route aimed at improving traffic flow along one of the region's most frequented highways. The ADM has indicated that this development will help alleviate the pressure on the overcrowded Témara interchange, especially during rush hours, while also enhancing overall travel efficiency between Rabat, Témara, and Harhoura.

Commitment to Urban and Economic Growth

Moreover, the design of this new exit ramp prioritizes user safety by better separating vehicle flows heading towards Témara, northern Harhoura, and the center of the beach resort, thereby reducing the potential for traffic conflicts near the interchanges. The establishment of this ramp is part of a larger framework aimed at constructing new infrastructural works and remodeling the Rabat-Skhirat highway. Through this project, ADM is not only responding to the increasing mobility demands but also supporting the region’s urban and economic growth.
