Government Council Approves Key Appointments
On Thursday, the Government Council endorsed a series of high-level appointments across several critical sectors, in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution. These appointments notably affected the realms of economy and finance, national education, and parliamentary relations.
A statement from the Ministry Delegate in charge of Parliamentary Relations, which serves as the official voice of the government, outlined the significant changes. Within the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Abdelatif El Amrani has been appointed as the General Treasurer of the Kingdom, while Mohamed Zahoui has been designated as the Director General of Customs and Indirect Taxes.
In the realm of national education, early childhood, and sports, the council also approved the appointment of Abdelmajid El Sahal as the Director General of Planning, Resources, and Contracts, a pivotal role responsible for managing planning and resource matters within the sector.
Furthermore, the appointments extended to the Ministry Delegate to the Head of Government for Parliamentary Relations, where Hafid Ainou has been appointed as the Director of Resources, Studies, and Information Systems.
