Nikki Beach Expands to Morocco with Upcoming Resort
Nikki Beach Hospitality Group has made an exciting announcement regarding their expansion into Morocco with the establishment of a resort and residential project in Marrakech, slated to open its doors in 2028. This highly anticipated development will be located on Route de l’Ourika, just a convenient 20-minute drive from Marrakech Menara Airport, providing an easily accessible getaway for both locals and international travelers alike. The Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Marrakech will feature a luxurious hotel alongside a beach club and an array of branded residences, reinforcing the brand's dedication to delivering a premium lifestyle experience.
The resort is set to encompass over 100 exquisite suites, varying in size from approximately 45 square meters for entry-level accommodations to an impressive flagship suite covering a sprawling 500 square meters. Each suite will showcase design elements inspired by modern Moroccan architecture, characterized by low-density layouts that prioritize spaciousness and comfort. These accommodations will be thoughtfully arranged around serene pools, enchanting water features, and beautifully landscaped outdoor areas, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests.
In addition to the hotel, the development will include more than 50 serviced villas, complete with private pools and gardens, all nestled within a resort-style environment that offers shared access to premium hospitality facilities. Guests can indulge in a variety of dining options, including an all-day dining venue, a signature restaurant, and poolside service, complemented by entertaining programming at the beach club.
Furthermore, the resort will feature a wide range of amenities such as outdoor bars, retail spaces, and a spa offering hammam experiences and treatment rooms. A comprehensive selection of indoor and outdoor sports facilities, including a gym and courts for squash, tennis, and padel, will ensure guests have ample opportunities for recreation and wellness.
Rémi Delpech, the Chief Operating Officer of Nikki Beach Hotels & Resorts, expressed enthusiasm about the project, stating, "We are developing a complete lifestyle ecosystem that brings together a luxury hotel, private residences, and a beach club, alongside wellness and lifestyle offerings." This initiative aligns with a growing trend within the hospitality industry towards integrated models that seamlessly combine accommodation, residential options, and lifestyle-focused components, aiming to enhance guest experiences and broaden revenue streams.
Morocco continues to experience significant growth in its tourism sector, with 14.5 million visitors recorded in 2023, according to the Ministry of Tourism. Nikki Beach's expansion strategy also includes projects in Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE, Baku in Azerbaijan, Muscat in Oman, and Antigua in the Caribbean, indicating a robust commitment to broadening its global footprint.
