Nikki Beach to Launch Luxurious Resort in Marrakech by 2028

Nikki Beach Set to Make Its Mark in Morocco

Nikki Beach, the renowned hospitality group known for its luxury beach clubs and resorts, has unveiled ambitious plans to open a new resort and residential complex in Marrakech, Morocco, marking its first foray into the Moroccan market. Scheduled to open in 2028, the Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Marrakech will be strategically located on the picturesque Ourika Road, just a short 20-minute drive from the Marrakech Menara Airport. The resort promises to offer guests an exquisite blend of relaxation and opulence, featuring a hotel, beach club, and branded residences.

The resort is designed to accommodate over 100 suites, with room sizes ranging from approximately 45 square meters for standard rooms to an expansive 500 square meter master suite. Inspired by modern Moroccan architecture, the hotel boasts a low-density layout that ensures a more intimate experience for guests, with suites thoughtfully arranged around tranquil swimming pools and beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces. Additionally, the complex will include more than 50 serviced villas, complete with private pools and gardens, creating a serene resort-style atmosphere with shared access to hospitality facilities.

World-Class Amenities and Dining Experiences

Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Marrakech is set to elevate the culinary scene with diverse dining options, including an all-day dining venue, a signature restaurant, and poolside service, complemented by entertainment programs at the beach club. Guests can expect a vibrant atmosphere that encapsulates the brand's ethos of luxury and leisure.

In addition to these offerings, the resort will feature outdoor bars, boutique shops, and a wellness spa that includes a traditional hammam and treatment rooms. The plans also encompass extensive indoor and outdoor sports facilities, including a well-equipped gym and dedicated courts for squash, tennis, and padel. Remy Delpech, CEO of Nikki Beach Hotels & Resorts, stated, “We are focused on creating a complete lifestyle ecosystem that integrates luxurious hotel accommodations, private residences, and a beach club, alongside wellness and lifestyle offerings.”

This strategic move reflects a broader trend towards integrated hospitality models that combine accommodations, residences, and lifestyle components to extend stays and diversify revenue streams. The tourism sector in Morocco is witnessing significant growth, with 14.5 million visitors recorded in 2023, according to the Ministry of Tourism. Looking ahead, Nikki Beach has plans for expansion in other locations, including Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE, Baku in Azerbaijan, Muscat in Oman, and Antigua in the Caribbean.
