According to a security source, the national police in Marrakech received a notification to search for a Norwegian tourist who failed to board his scheduled flight back to Norway, following a loss of contact from his family. This prompted immediate action from the local police.
As reported, the security forces in Marrakech quickly coordinated with their counterparts in Agadir to conduct an intensive search operation. This effort successfully located the missing foreign tourist while he was staying in one of Agadir's hotels. Fortunately, he had not suffered any harm, nor was there any indication of criminal activity surrounding his absence.
The individual was subsequently referred to the provincial judicial police department in Agadir to complete all necessary procedures related to the family's inquiry. This included informing his family back in Norway about the outcome of the search and ensuring that they were aware of his situation.
