Open Portfolio Makes a Grand Comeback in Casablanca
Following the success of its inaugural edition, Open Portfolio Casablanca is set to return for its second edition, scheduled to take place from September 4 to 6, 2026. This international event focuses on emerging graphic arts and aims to bring together artists, collectors, art professionals, students, and the general public. The event will celebrate contemporary creation and the diverse practices of printmaking through a vibrant program that promises to engage and inspire attendees.
This year, the event is organized by Casa Events et Animation in collaboration with the Instituto Cervantes of Casablanca and in partnership with FIG Bilbao, Bassma Printmaking, and the Casablanca School of Fine Arts. The XIII edition of Open Portfolio-FIG will be hosted at the stunning Cathédrale du Sacré-Cœur in Casablanca, a venue that provides a unique backdrop for this artistic gathering.
Open Portfolio is an initiative of the FIG Bilbao – International Festival of Printmaking and Paper Art, and it serves as a dedicated platform for the promotion, dissemination, and appreciation of contemporary printmaking.
